Cedar Privacy Fence Part 1

The beginning of another cedar fence project located in Jacksonville. This section is 7'11" in order to block the light from an existing flood light located next door.
4" x 6" pressure treated post set 36" deep were used for the tall section which is 60' in length. 4" x 4" pt post were set for the remaining 6' tall sections to be located at each end.

Holes dug, post set, plumbed, and aligned.

Post tops trimmed and rails attached ready for fence boards.
The finished run with 3/4" thick cedar fence boards and cedar top cap. Fence is constructed with screws in all rails and fence boards, no nails or staples were used.  A nice element to this fence is the slight angle through the stand of trees.
More to come.

After removing outlet covers, filling nail holes, sanding, and washing all surfaces, two coats of quality paint were applied to the ceiling, walls, moulding, door and window trim, and closet doors. Cedar Fence

A recent project was this cedar fence to accent the clients yard and hide the sight of the neighbors weeds growing beside their driveway each season.

The fence was built within code allowances to block the view of weeds while still providing street visibility for backing out of ones driveway.

Cedar post set in concrete, plumbed and aligned.

Post cut to fence height with rails attached.
Fence boards attached and stain applied for great look and weather protection.
